Before joining an EYDA event, please read this code of conduct carefully. We expect everyone to adhere to it. 

1. Respect and embrace diversity: We welcome everyone whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete. Treat everyone with kindness and understanding. Celebrate that we all come from different backgrounds and have unique journeys. Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or exclusionary behavior. 
   
2. Create a supportive atmosphere: Come alone or come together. To create a supportive atmosphere, encourage and uplift others. See a participant coming alone? Good choice to give an extra smile or go say hi. It can make a difference.
3. Participate with integrity: Follow the guidance of your hosts and respect the schedule, space, and activities provided.
4. Foster positivity: Bring a curious and open mindset. Join in with enthusiasm, and help build an environment where fun and growth go hand in hand.

Should something happen that makes you feel uncomfortable, please let us know. Tell your host or send us an email afterwards at events@eyda.com. All reports will be taken seriously and handled in absolute confidence. If the code of conduct aren’t upheld, EYDA will take appropriate action; a friendly conversation, a formal warning or in rare cases, removal from the event.
